Tuesday Tip: Get Review Excerpts In Your Next Movie Google Search

Revies

This is a pretty simple tip for the week. I found this tip over on Lifehacker and I thought it would be a good one for trying to catch those last few summer blockbusters still in theaters. When searching for a movie on Google, add *reviews* to the title and you’ll get snippets of popular critics reviews of the film. You’ll also get he Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic scores.

This can save you quite a few clicks when deciding what to see, so I tried a few other media types. Music didn’t work. I was able to get the review scores for video games, but there are no excerpts. TV gets a similar treatment. I might be really late to the party for this one, but I found this useful. If you use Bing, you can get some movie data. No luck for Duck Duck Go users.
