Steve Jobs gave it, then he took it away. Airprinting was scheduled to make an appearance on the iPad, iPhone 3GS and 4, as well as the iPod Touch from generations 2 to 4, but something changed between the September 15th announcement, because as of this morning the iPod Touch 2G won’t be graced with its presence.

What seems like an arbitrary decision may have some sound reasoning behind it, but we’re hard pressed to find it. We’re placing this one right on the mantle next to no Game Center on the 3G iPhone. If OpenFeint can run on the 3G iPhone, surely Apple can make GameCenter work, but I digress.
