According to The Korea Times, Samsung is working on a social network aimed to directly compete with Facebook. This social network will be connected to all of Samsung’s products such as phones, cameras and Blu-Ray players. Samsung is reportedly referring to the social network under the codename ‘Samsung Facebook’. No, I didn’t make that up.
This isn’t the first time that Samsung has stepped its foot in the social networking waters either. Samsung currently runs a social chat service under the name ‘ChatON’. This service is available on almost all major mobile operating systems including iOS.
