Unless you have spent the last two months in a coma, you’re aware of the upcoming “event” today, and if you’re not, you need your head examined. You call yourself an Apple fan. Anyway, we’ve been hard at work bringing you news over the last year, so I thought it might be fun to have some of our bloggers take a wild guess at what we’re going to see at this event. You can find our guesses below, and clearly by “guesses,” I mean wishlist!
Joshua Schnell: iPod: Zune Edition, Wireless syncing on the Touch/iPhone, AppStore for iPods
Jeremy Pihl: iTunes subscription model
Wayne Dixon: updated: Zunes… i mean Nanos, Touch capacity updates, Shuffle double in capacity. Wishes: Special Edition iPods (Beatles), and monitor refreshes.
Tom Leroux: “I predict that Steve Jobs on Tuesday will announce the slew of new iPod upgrades, and then announce his resignation at Apple, effective immediately.
Once the crowd calms down, he will then announce his candidacy for President of the United States, under the banner “Be Excellent to one another,” balloons & confetti will rain down from the ceiling, He will then name his staff; , iJustine, Dr Kirsten Sanford, Veronica Belmont, Leo Laporte, Andy Ihnatko, John C Dvork, Gary Vaynerchuk, Felica Day, Jason Calacanis, and Wil Wheaton.”
