Pebble Smartwatch Now Supports iOS 7

Stop holding your breath, the latest Pebble update ensures that your fancy-schmancy smartwatch now has support for iOS 7’s Notification Center.

If an app punts information to your notification center, or it decides that it wants to hound you for the twelve billionth time, you now have the luxury of getting those alerts directly on your wrist, just like marketers and app developers have always intended.

From the Pebble Blog:

Pebble is now fully integrated with iOS 7 and works seamlessly with Notification Center. This means that any notifications you’ve enabled in Notification Center on your iOS 7 device will appear on your Pebble — just like that. It’s easier than ever to pick and choose which updates you want to see on your watch. This includes notifications beyond calls, texts and emails, such as Calendar, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Flickr, Dropbox, WhatsApp, Flipboard and more.

Kidding aside, the update is long overdue and pretty handy if you have a Pebble already. I couldn’t imagine living in a world where my wrist couldn’t talk to my phone. The humanity.
