Infinity Blade multiplayer update now live, and on sale!

A few days ago word broke that Infinity Blade was finally getting its multiplayer update. Today’s the big day, and if you haven’t already made the purchase, Infinity Blade is now on sale in the App Store. For those of you not in the know, Infinity Blade was the first game in the App Store to use Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3. It pretty much translates into pure, unadulterated pixel sexiness.

Gameplay for the multiplayer campaign will be similar to the single player campaign, with the added twist that players will be able to take on the villainy roll, and thereby gain access to special attack capabilities. The update has only been out for a couple of hours, so we don’t want to offer up too much information. You can expect a review in the near future though.

Until then, either update your Infinity Blade or go out and buy it for the first time. It looks and plays fantastically.
