If you want to let your friends know about which bar you’re hanging out at, you can now share your location directly from Google Maps on iOS.
Users can choose to share their current location or any location for that matter to their friends on Google+ along with a related description. The new feature can be used as a tool to plan future events by sharing a location and tagging your invitees along in the post.
