Apple releases minor Apple TV update

Apple has released another update for the Apple TV this morning. The update, version 4.4.1, addresses some bugs that were introduced alongside the major update that was released last week. According to Apple’s notes on the update, version 4.4.1 fixes the bug that asked a number of Apple TV owners to attach their Apple TVs to iTunes for updating.

If you still haven’t updated your Apple TV yet, you may want to run that patch now. Apple introduced AirPlay mirroring, the NHL Network, as well as Photo Stream to Apple TV owners last week. So far I’ve made use of all three of the additions pretty heavily.

As always, you can get the update by heading to the general tab, then the settings listing, then selecting the software update option.
