At Apple’s WWDC event earlier this month, we saw the company take somewhat of a shift in its marketing strategy. Apple has now released a new print ad to match its new “Designed By Apple” campaign.

The company has purchased a full two page ad in newspaper the Toronto Star, which includes in it the same text from Apple’s original “Designed By Apple” commercial as well as the message on Apple’s company site. While so far it has only been spotted in the Star, expect it to show up in some other newspapers as well.

The ad campaign focuses on marketing Apple as a company as opposed to marketing its products. Some speculate that this is due to the increasing quality and feature set of competing products from other companies.

Expect Apple’s ads to follow in the same vain for the foreseeable future.
