There goes the neighbourhood: Flight Control team buys Puzzle Quest


If getting your chores done on weekends are already a giant pain in your backside, it’s probably going to pain you to know that Firemint, maker of the popular FlightControl game, has just outright purchased Infinite Interactive. What, Infinite Interactive doesn’t ring any bells? How about Puzzle Quest? Yup, the maker of Flight Control have just purchased the maker of Puzzle Quest.

We can’t even begin to imagine what these two fine development teams will accomplish while working under the same roof.

The two flagship games have eaten up a large chunk of my time this year, and with this acquisition, I might as well pack it in already. I’m not getting anything done this year. So long 2011 goals.
