Apple has just released their own podcast viewing app, which is available for download in the iTunes App Store. While we originally thought this app was going to be built into iOS 6, it looks as if Apple has decided to release it a bit early. Apple’s latest app goes under the name Podcasts and is available for free via the App Store (link below). The description reads:
[quote]Podcasts app is the easiest way to discover, subscribe to and play your favorite podcasts on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. - Try the innovative new Top Stations feature to find new podcast series in a variety of topics, including arts, business, comedy, music, news, sports, and more.
- Browse by Audio or Video podcasts, or see what’s most popular in Top Charts

This app will give current podcasting apps, such as iCatcher!, a run for their money as Podcasts is a free app that is developed in-house at Apple.
