Apple releases iOS 5 beta 3, new betas of iTunes, etc…

Twelve days after releasing beta 2, Apple has released its third beta of iOS 5.

The build number is 9a5259f. We’re downloading it now, and will be back to report on any big changes in this new build.

iOS 5 is set to be released this fall for the iPhone 4 and 3GS, all iPads, and the two most recent generations of the iPod touch.

The second generation Apple TV will also be getting the underpinnings of iOS 5.

With the new iOS 5 beta, Apple has also given developers access to iTunes 10.5 beta 3 and Xcode 4.2 Developer Preview 3, and iCloud for Lion beta 4.
