Panic Goes Balls Out Post-PC, Brings Diet Coda To The iPad

What’s a post-PC world worth if it doesn’t have remote-file editing, terminal support, and other web developer friendly tools? Thankfully we’ll never have to know; the fabulous team over at Panic has decided that it’s time for the iPad to get some Coda Diet Coda love. The company has announced that Diet Coda, a slimmed down but still super powerful version of Coda, is making its way to the iPad on May 24th.

The application will sell for $9.99 and includes an SSH Terminal app built in, syntax highlighting, remote file editing, AirPreview, which turns your iPad into a Coda preview monitor, and a document shelf.

Long story short, if you ever find yourself having to make some edits to your website while you’re barreling down the highway at 60 MPH, you’re gonna want to pick up Diet Coda before putting rubber to asphalt. We’ve got a feeling this is going to be a must-have application.

We also have to ask, what happened to Coda Zero?
