What if you could play on your iPad with an NES controller?

A lot of people have done a lot of really crazy things in the name of gaming on the iPad. We’ve seen joystick hacks, and a bunch of other equally bizarre attempts at getting a controller to work with the iPad, but none of them has warmed my cockles as much as this NES controller hack. Yes, I said cockles, and no, it doesn’t mean what you think it does.

Anyway, this hacker totally got it right. He’s managed to take one of the most iconic controllers of all time and hack it up to work on the iPad. It gets better though; the control scheme uses robotic fingers on the tablet to simulate a button press.

Mind=blown.

Hat tip to Ben Myers for sending this one in.
