Apple Promotes iOS 7′s Business Capabilities
Apple has just added a new section to its website regarding and promoting iOS 7 in the business world. With iOS 7, business users have been given a plethora of new capabilities. For instance, administrators can now control which third-party applications are used to open attachments. VPN can now be configured on an app-to-app basis and custom fonts can be installed on iOS devices, making for easier company branding of documents and Keynote presentations.

With a beautiful all-new design and powerful all-new features, iOS 7 is the most significant update since the original iPhone. And for business, iOS 7 offers more advanced ways to deploy devices and deliver a great user experience for your employees.
Apple also gives businesses a look at the all new Mail app that’s included with iOS 7. While the app’s new interface and gesture support may look beautiful on the font-end, the back-end has been updated with business in mind. For instance, users can add smart mailboxes, view PDF annotations, and sync notes using Microsoft Exchange 2010.
The page also highlights Caching Server 2, a feature within OS X Mavericks Server. This feature allows system administrators to cache purchased content from the App Store, iTunes, or the iBookstore on a local OS X Mavericks Server machine. This speeds up the content delivery process of both new applications and updates as they’re pushed to devices over a company’s local network, not from Apple’s servers.
