Of course Google Glass will “work” with an Android phone, and as it turns out it will also work with your iPhone. The Verge‘s Joshua Topolsky got some hands-on time with the glasses, and the site has a fantastic article up about the product. One thing in particular is sticking out though.

Joshua Topolsky from the Verge:

The device gets data through Wi-Fi on its own, or it can tether via Bluetooth to an Android device or iPhone and use its 3G or 4G data while out and about. There’s no cellular radio in Glass, but it does have a GPS chip.

I don’t care. Unless this thing stops making people look less like a cyborg, it’ll never take off. Give me Google Glass contacts and we can talk. Kidding aside, there’s not much to get excited about these days when it comes to consumer electronics, but Google Glass is one of those things that could begin to push the envelope a little bit and define the next generation of personal computing. Unless it has a ton of ads. If that’s the case, then screw those guys.
