More iPhone 5 cases leaked, more changes noted

iPhone, Misc. News, Rumors

Some new photos of supposed iPhone 5 cases have been leaked, and along with them come some details of a wider iPhone with a tapered design.

The new photos are much clearer than previous leaks, and the images come with measurements, showing that the iPhone will be somewhere around 4.9 inches tall and 2.7 inches wide.

This new larger size is likely due to a larger screen being used for the iPhone 5.

We’ve taken the majority of the details released lately from all of the iPhone 5 cases leaked  and compiled a new render which should be among the closest out there to what the iPhone 5 rumors have been suggesting.  Let us know what you think.

This being the 3rd iPhone 5 case leak in the same amount of days really has us drooling for a release date, and hopefully this is a sign that the date is just around the corner.

One thing all of these rumors has confirmed for sure isthat when the iPhone 5 does drop, you’ll have a hell of a selection of cases to choose from.

I have an iPhone 4; my only wish is for a larger screen, which this one seems to have. I prefer the rounder corners (like the iPhone 3 had), and thinner is better. Looks great to me.

If it's that thin, sign me the f**k up!!! But I'm not due for an upgrade on my current contract for the Andriod phone I have which doesn't have multi-touch, launched with Android 1.6 which they made to look fast on Sony's website but turned out to be slow & sluggish, Android 2.1 only became available from Sony Ericsson a year after it was released because they screwed with the code. By that time most phones had Android 2.2, a version my phone never got. Think about that: an OS update gets released for your phone, but you never got it because the OEM screwed up. The official Sony Ericsson Backup&Restore app did not restore my contacts, had to add those back manually. That's what I got going with Android.

Mute switch has been move to the right side of the phone of all of the new cases are to be believed.

It looks very much like an iPod Touch. Oh, you missed the mute switch BTW.
I really don't know if I like it.

The mute switch has been relocated to the other side.

Why spend so much time on a render and forget little things like a front facing camera...

Latest rumor is the removal of a front facing camera haha!! J/K you got me, I noticed that last night and will add it Monday. Good catch!

I really hope that's not what it looks like. It looks too much like a droid and I really don't want to be walking around with people thinking I'm using a droid. Team iPhone!!
