Nine Inch Nails teams up with Case-Mate to release iPhone cases

Nine Inch Nails teams up with Case Mate to release iPhone casesIt was only a matter of time until companies started to sell cellphone cases as a promotional tool—the iPhone 4 case is the new t-shirt.

Trent Reznor has teamed up with Case-Mate to bring a series of Nine Inch Nails inspired cases to the iPhone. The cases include artwork from Pretty Hate Machine, Broken, Downward Spiral, and The Fragile.

Currently the Pretty Hate Machine case is available online, while the others will be released in the near future.

You can currently get the case for $34.99 on the Case-Mate website.

What do you think? Would you rock a band inspired case?

We’re probably going to be witnessing a huge move from bands, movies, and video game companies towards iPhone and iPad cases as promotional tools.

If you could have an iPhone case based on your favourite album artwork, what would it be?  I’d probably go with something from the Flaming Lips’ Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots.

As soon as I get my new iPhone 4 on the 26th I'm going to get me one of these cases, just to SWEET! not to have.

Thanks for the great post Joshua! Look for us at Coachella, Hangout Fest and Bonnaroo in the next few months. Our street teams will be giving out limited edition cases and want to hear which bands you want on your case next!
