I agree that they could win back the customizers and those like me that have been using it to have somthing like a voip and im app running in the background. Then again I think that there really are not so many jailbreakers that apple is worried about gettingthem back into the fold. I think that folks like me really are not the market apple is targeting.

Yeah, I think you are missing why most people I know that jailbreak, jailbreak…
It is so we can have background streaming audio apps, whether it is to listen to the radio, Pandora, or stream some music using Simplify music. If I could play music in the background, I would not jailbreak.

Freedom. If Apple gave me freedom to do whatever i wanted with my own phone, then I wouldn't jailbreak.

I have the following Jailbreak apps installed on my iPhone:

    Jailbreak (blackra1n)
    Cydia
    Backgrounder
    Proswitcher (with Activator)
MobileTerminal ("root" & "mobile" pw's changed for security)
    iFile
    BTstack keyboard app
    "find in page" bookmarklet
    SBsettings
    Rotation Inhibitor
    SplitScreen (or TVout-mirror version)
    OpenSSH

The single biggest things for me are BTstack keyboard support, Splitscrn for additional tv-out support and, of course, multitasking.
