Screenshots. I get asked this at least once a week!

There are a number of ways in os x to take a screenshot, or print screen for you windows folk! To get a full screen shot push “Command+Shift+Control+3” Done and done! It’ll put a image on your desktop…

I prefer to use Grab though. Its a nice application that ships out of the box.

Use spotlight… that blue magnifying glass in the top right corner of your screen (if you’ve been paying attention to earlier posts you can use Apple+Space bar to open it up. Type in grab and select the application.

Now under the Capture menu you have four options… Selection, Screen, Timed and Window. Each do something a little different.

It’s pretty handy, and I use it quite a bit.

… Now stop asking me every week! I kid. I enjoy the questions
