Lab Tick lets you control backlit keyboards

If you have a shiny Macbook Pro or Powerbook with a backlit keyboard, this application might be for you. Have you ever been annoyed about not being able to control how bright those keys are, or better yet, when the turn on and turn off? It’s pretty annoying having the computer dictate to you when the lights should be on, and just how bright they should be. Lab Tick is an application that gives you complete control over these issues from the menu bar. Turn the backlit keys on, or turn them off, turn them up, or turn them down. It’s all possible. The program is free, but they’re asking for donations. So in the spirit of holiday giving, if you like the application and decided to use it on a daily basis, pass the developer a couple of bucks so he can feed the family.
