iTunes Back Up

What are the most important files on your computer? For me, my most important files are my music and movies. If my harddrive were to crash, there is no way of getting back roughly half of my media files. That is why I utilize the “Back up to disc” feature in iTunes to keep an up to date copy of my iTunes library. Here is how it works:

1) Launch iTunes.

2) Go to “File” and then click on “Back up to disc.”

3) If this is your first time, have it back up your whole collection.

4) A few weeks after you’ve completed your first back up, come back and follow steps 1 & 2, but this time click the button that says “Only back up items added or changed since last back up.”
