Screen Sharing Bug

I found a bug with Leopard screen sharing, which might be a complete pain for some. If you have two Leopard machines, connect to one for screen sharing, then try using Spotlight. Oh wait, you can’t! That’s right, you cannot use Spotlight when screen sharing. Can somebody explain why? I wanted to open up some files on my Macbook while sitting on my iMac, but I had to go and navigate to them manually.

It’s not like I’m that irritated, but it doesn’t make any sense as to why somebody couldn’t use Spotlight via screen sharing. I understand that you won’t get the cool ‘instant’ view of results, but that wouldn’t be expected with screen sharing. I hope this is just an oversight on Apple’s part, and not a technical issue.
