Jobs about to meet with Obama

As we’ve said before, we won’t report on Jobs’ health unless there’s an official announcement through proper channels. Proper channels don’t include The National Inquirer, or any other website not named Apple.com.

That being said, we just had to post the news that Jobs is scheduled to meet with Obama today, along with other major players in the industry (Schmidt, Zuckerberg), to discuss “American innovation, new investments, education, and clean energy.”

We’d love to be a fly on that wall. It would be something else to hear the prognosticating going on, and where these three guys think the world is heading.

Hopefully this post gives you some insight into our thoughts on yesterday’s news without having to actually say that it was garbage.
