Remember the good old jailbreak days where you had to wait for days after a full release before you could jailbreak your phone? Well, it’s not the case any longer. All those crazy-talented developers working on jailbreaks have been taking their skills to “pwning” iOS 4.2 before it’s even out of beta.
MuscleNerd has gone on the record as saying iOS 4.2 beta 3 will be releasing the jailbrake tools for iOS 4.2 beta 3 on Sunday. So if you’re a developer, or just someone with early access to 4.2, you won’t have to wait too long to get your jailbreak on again.
Guess what else that means? The Apple TV should be on the menu for a jailbreak.
Keep your eyes peeled on the iphone-dev blog, they’ll likely have the update before anyone else, once the tools are released.
