Hordes of Orcs 2 released for the Mac

If you love Tower Defence, and you love playing games on your Mac, you’ve probably played Hordes of Orcs at some point. If you haven’t, we’re pretty disappointed in you. It’s a classic.

Freeverse has decided that carrying on with the franchise is a good idea, and they’ve announced and released Hordes of Orcs 2. The game continues where the last one left off, and when the “Glowing Portal of Really Bad Things That We Should have Bricked-Up a Long Time Ago” is unbricked again.

They’ve added new enemy units, upgraded arsenals, enhanced the graphics, added six different game modes, and they have a smarter AI.  The game weighs in at $19.95, and requires:

Mac OS X 10.3.9 or Better

  • Intel GMA950 or better video card
  • 384MB of RAM
  • 1.83Ghz CPU (Intel or PowerPC)
  • Compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

Nom, Nom, Nom, indeed.
