Perhaps you’ve read all the praise for Facebook’s new “Paper” app, or perhaps you’ve read the controversies behind it, either way none of this matters too much if you live outside the U.S., since the app is available to American users only. OR IS IT?…
There’s in fact quite a simple way that non-U.S. users can go about downloading Paper to their iOS device. Just follow these easy steps:
- While on your iOS device, tap on the “Apple ID” button at the very bottom of the App Store.
- Tap “View Apple ID”.
- Change your country setting to the United States. (Note: This will remove any credit card information you have on file)
- Choose “none” when it asks for your payment settings.
- Search for and download “Paper” before then changing your country back to normal.
Voila! You now have Paper.
Facebook could decide to shut down this method with a future update, but that’s unlikely to ever happen. Enjoy your new app!
