FireCore’s aTV Flash hits version 1.1, has some new goodness

FireCore, the company responsible for the popular Apple TV software package that “supercharges” your second generation device, has released version 1.1 of their popular aTV Flash ($29.95).

The hack now has custom view options, web page auto-load as well as some playback improvements and bug fixes. The most interesting addition is the auto-start. Starting with version 1.1 users can automatically load (or reload) a specified webpage any time the device is powered on.

Why would you want to do that? Well, there are plenty of companies out there that are looking for a cost-effective way of playing promotional material on a television in their places of business. This new feature now makes that very simple.

There’s also a huge changelog available on their website, so if you’re into checking out the details, you can get it over there.

Quick note: you have to have jailbroken your Apple TV to make use of this product.
