Cards app appears on Apple website, will require iPhone 3GS or better

If you’re curious about what Apple has in store for you with the Cards application that they announced during their keynote earlier this week, you can now head to the Apple website and get more information on the application.

According to the website the cards start at $2.99 within the U.S. and $4.99 for cards sent to or from anywhere else. The price includes postage charges.

The cards are extremely similar to the iPhoto cards you can create and print, but instead of putting the feature directly into iPhoto for iOS, Apple will be adding a new app to the AppStore. Apple has included 21 new letterpress designs that are customizable and simple to create.

If you want some more information, check out the page on Apple’s website. The Cards app will require iOS 5, an iPhone 3GS or better, or an iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation), iPad, or iPad 2.
