Bomb threat forces evacuation at Apple offices in Sacramento

Three of Apple’s buildings in Elk Grove, California, have been evacuated due to a bomb threat. Apple Insider is reporting that Apple’s Sacramento Campus (buildings A, B, and C) is currently being swept by police services, and that the building was evacuated at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

The buildings under threat include Apple’s returns, finance, and human resources operations. Few details have actually surfaced, but we’ll be sure to keep you up to date once we here more. We’ll be updating this post as news rolls in.

Update: Fox News is reporting that the police have cleared the building, and given the green light. The bomb-sniffing dogs managed to clear the building in 5 hours. Thanks to 7Murdo for sending in the tip.
