If you’re looking to get your hands on an iPad, but you don’t want to fork out the cash for a brand new iPad 2, you can go the official refurb route.
Apple’s still selling refurbished iPads for $349.00 online. For the discounted price, you’ll get a 16GB Wi-Fi version. You should also keep in mind that the iPad has been refurbished, which means that it went back to Apple at some point for some kind of repair.
Apple has had a pretty good track record when it comes to refurbs, but I know a few people who’ve had some pretty big problems with their refurbished laptops. So, as always, buyer beware.
The good news is that the iPad will come with a guaranteed 1-year warranty, just in case something goes wrong.
