If you’re a developer trying to get certain people free copies of your game, you probably do this by giving out your free app promo codes provided to you by Apple. While up until now developers have only had 50 codes per app to give out, it seems as though this limit has now been doubled to 100.
Apple has yet to officially confirm the change, however, several developers are confirming that they now have 100 codes to giveaway. Oddly, MacStories reports that book publishers are still operating under a 50 code limit.
If this change ends up being permanent, developers should find it very helpful when it comes to promoting and marketing their apps.
