Amazon Accepting Google Chromecast Orders From International Customers

If you were excited about the Chromecast’s original announcement, but were then sad to hear that Google would only ship them to the U.S., you’re in luck. Good ol’ Amazon.com has started offering international shipping options on the media streaming device.

So far, users from the UK, Hong Kong, and Germany have all confirmed they’ve been able to order the product through Amazon. However, when we tested as to whether the device would ship to Canada, our address was declared invalid. You’re best bet is simply trying it out to see if it works.

The device is still selling for a cool $35.00, but expect to add on some extra shipping expenses if you’re an international buyer.

If you don’t know anything about the Chromecast, here’s its product description on Amazon:

* Stream online video, music and more to your TV using your smartphone, tablet, or laptop
* Supports Netflix, YouTube, Hulu Plus, and Google Play Movies and Music mobile apps as well as select content through Chrome browser
* Works with Android, iOS, Chrome for Mac, and Chrome for Windows
* Easy setup: Plug into any HDTV and connect to your home WiFi network
* Box includes Chromecast, HDMI extender, USB power cable, and power adapter

The Chromecast seems like quite a cool product, so if you can get your hands on one, we’d recommend it.
