The LandingZone Is Ground Zero For Your Desktop MacBook Air

Having recently upgraded to an 11-inch MacBook Air, I now find myself constantly plugging and unplugging my Cinema Display, as well as some other USB cables on a daily basis. That usually ends with my cables on the floor or even dangling behind my desk. Kind of a bummer, but mostly a first world problem. The LandingZone is the perfect first world solution to my terrible first world problem. It’s a beautiful docking station for my MacBook.

The LandingZone has four USB 2.0 ports, a Mini DisplayPort, a Kensington locking port, and a built in US power adapter.

While not availble just yet — the company just wrapped up a successful Kickstarter campaign — the device won’t be cheap. According to the company’s Kickerstarter page, they plan on selling the device for approximately $200.00. That said, there’s no doubt that the LandingZone will solve the problem most MacBook Air users have these days: random disappearing cable syndrome.
