Bohemian Coding, the developers behind Sketch, have released a brand new update for the Apple Design Award-winning graphic app. Sketch 2.1 comes with support for the Retina display and the update required a lot of coding changes and over a hundred graphic updates.
Sketch is great for web and UI design, icon design and illustration. In addition to the newly added Retina support, Sketch 2.1 also offers support for multiple borders, shadows, inner shadows and glows. A demo video can be watched here.
What else is new in version 2.1? Take a look:
- Graphics updated for Retina display
- Improved rendering quality and speed of inner shadows and glows
- Improved accuracy of working with small layers
- Layers can now sit between pixel boundaries
- Update also includes artboard enhancements, exporting improvements, interface enhancements, canvas enhancements, text editing issue fixes, and general speed enhancements and bug fixes.
