iMac Gets A VESA Wall-Mounting System, Now Available On The Apple Store

When it first launched, Apple’s newest iMac was incompatible with VESA’s popular wall mounting system. Apple has now updated its online store with a solution. The company now sells a new VESA mountable iMac.

VESA mounts are usually used to mount TVs on walls, but they have also been used to mount people’s iMacs as well. To get your wall-mountable version of the newest iMac, Apple is charging only an additional $40. The VESA version iMacs (yes the VESA mount is built-in) come with the same customization and upgrade options as the standard non-VESA versions.

Previously, Apple didn’t offer a VESA mount for the 21.5-inch model of the iMac, but this time around it’s available for the smaller iMac model.

If you’ve been eagerly hoping for a wall mountable version of the newest iMac, and were disappointed that it didn’t launch with it, then you’ll be happy to know that Apple really took customer feedback to heart and built a solution. Prices start at $1,339.00 for the 21.5-inch iMac and $1,839.00 for the 27-inch iMac. Check them out on the online Apple Store now.
