This speaker is a fraction of the size of the standard Jambox, though it still houses two forward-facing speakers with proprietary drivers, a passive bass radiator, and two active drivers to produce massive sound. The speaker also offers a 360-degree microphone, so you can turn your Mini Jambox into the ultimate speakerphone for your iPhone or Android device. The Mini Jambox, like the standard Jambox, connects to your iPhone by way of Bluetooth, though there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack on the back for legacy devices.
Aside from producing good sound, the Mini Jambox also has a 10-hour battery life and is compatible with Jawbone’s Jambox app. This iPhone app allows you to personalize your Jambox and add new features to the speaker. Using the app, you also have one-touch access to tons of streaming services like Rdio, Spotify, Deezer, and others. Because of this, you can switch between streaming services instantly, without having to switch apps.
