Zite now available on the iPhone

Zite has released a brand new iPhone app for their popular “personalized news” service. The application is similar to their iPad app, but streamlined for an iPhone experience. Readers can now start reading an article on the go and finish on the iPad when they have more time to dive in and relax with the news.

Zite does a great job of identifying what information I enjoy, and then providing me with news stories that fit my tastes. It can do most of this automatically, but it also gives you the tools to tune in or tune out news that you either love or hate.

The application is now universal, meaning that the iPad application and iPhone app are wrapped up together. So if you’ve already downloaded it for your iPad, you can update your library, and then just move the file to your iPhone.

We did an interview with Mark Johnson a couple weeks ago about Zite. We recommend you check it out. It’s a great read.
