If you’re in love with all things Dieter Rams, you’ll absolutely love this brand spanking new weather app for the iPhone. WTHR, a minimal app that follows Rams’ ten principles of good design, aims to get you the daily forcast without all the clutter of typical weather apps. The App gives you access to the seven-day forcast, and lets you choose between Fahrenheit or Celsius like any good weather app should.
There has been some mention of GPS issues with the app, but on the whole the experience is what you would expect from a basic weather application. If you’re looking to replace the weather app in iOS, this is a good place to start. The app will set you back a dollar.
