Just over a week ago we saw some shots of a white iPhone 4G. At that time, most wrote it off as being a fake, while others pointed to the color iPod nano lineup as evidence that it was a possibility. It seems like there’s more evidence for the latter today, as white iPhone 4G images have surfaced just days before the big WWDC event.
Possibly the worst kept secret in Apple’s history, the iPhone 4G (or HD) has slowly been announced piece by piece over the last month as product shots have leaked around the country. At this point, it’d be hard to bet against anything other than an iPhone 4G being announced at WWDC. After the enormous spike in traffic that Gizmodo saw when they purchased an iPhone prototype, it’s pretty self-evident why everyone and their brother has been leaking details as soon as they get their hands on device parts.
PowerbookMedic has put up pictures of replacement parts for the iPhone 4G (Back Cover, Glass Digitizer, and MidBoard). What we want to know is why this sort of thing wasn’t happening for the 3G and 3GS models. What is it about the 4G that has the internet abuzz?
