How-To: Update Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ with Siri

 

Some of you might still be in the dark as to how to make Siri do your social work. In other words, getting the girl to update Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ with only your voice. Well, here’s the how-to you’ve been waiting for! It’s quite simple, actually.

Tweet with Siri

  1. Text START to 40404.
  2. Respond to Twitter’s reply with your username.
  3. Respond to Twitter’s reply with your password.
  4. Respond to Twitter’s reply with OK.
You’ve just sent up SMS for your Twitter account. Now we’ll bring Siri into the mix.
  1. In Contacts, add Twitter using the phone number 40404.
That’s it! Now, just tell Siri to send a text to Twitter followed by your tweet and you’re done.

Update Facebook with Siri

  1. Text HELLO to 32665.
  2. Tap the link in Facebook’s reply.
  3. Choose your settings and click save.
You’ve just sent up mobile notifications for your Facebook account. Now we’ll bring Siri into the mix.
  1. In Contacts, add Facebook using the phone number 32665.
That’s it! Now, just tell Siri to send a text to Facebook followed by your status update and you’re done.

Update Google+ with Siri

  1. Sign into your Google+ account.
  2. Go to your Google+ settings via the settings icon on the right.
  3. Select add phone number.
  4. Select your country and enter your phone number.
  5. Click send verification code.
  6. Keep your window open and check your mobile phone.
  7. Enter the six-digit pin code from Google and click confirm.
You’ve just sent up SMS updates for your Google+ account. Now we’ll bring Siri into the mix.
  1. In Contacts, add Google Plus using the phone number 33669.
That’s it! Now, just tell Siri to send a text to Google Plus followed by your status and you’re done.
P.S. The codes mentioned above for Twitter and Facebook are for the U.S. and a few other countries. Make sure you check the social sites for your country code before proceeding.
