Struggling to make that picture look just right with Instagram or Snapchat? Touch up that sext with Adobe Photoshop Touch for iPhone. Adobe’s premier photo editing tool, Photoshop, has just escaped from your desktop and broken into your mobile device. While the iPad version of the app was released over a year ago, this newest edition brings its touch friendly photo editing interface onto your iPhone (4S and newer) and iPod Touch (5th generation).

The same app was also released on Google Play for Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) or higher.

For $4.99, you can download this slimmed down version of the traditional Photoshop software to your phone and tweak all your pictures right in-app before sending them to friends or social networks. It packs all of the same, very powerful, features as its iPad counterpart, allowing you to add masks, manipulate layers, splice images together, and add colored filters à la instagram.

There’s also a very unique Camera Fill feature that allows creatives to completely fill a specific layer with whatever you want captured from the camera. A lot of care was put into making sure that the powerful tablet app features would be made available in a consistent manner across smaller screens.

Any project started on the iPhone can also be completed or synced with the iPad, desktop, or Android versions of Photoshop thanks to Adobe’s Creative Cloud service. You can find Adobe Photoshop Touch on the App Store or on Google Play.
