Taptivate builds one Friends app to rule them all

Taptivate has been slaving over Friends for an entire year. That’s a pretty big commitment to make in a market where new social media apps come and go on a weekly basis. Luckily, Taptivate’s efforts have paid off with an amazing application. Friends is kind of like SocialThing (remember that?) for your iPhone, with a bunch of added features. You can see what your friends are doing on a bunch of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn) all in one place.

This sleek application does an exemplary job of providing all of your “friend” information in one place without making you feel the typical overwhelmed and overburdened sensation that comes with managing social networks today.

Taptivate has even built in the ability to sync all of your friends with your native address book, which is a huge plus.

Friends isn’t a Twitter client, it’s a social media client, and it’s probably one of the better ones we’ve come across in a while.

You should check it out. Friends was released today, so we’re going to take it for a prolonged spin and get a more in depth review in the queue.
