For Sonic’s 20th birthday, Sega All-Star Racing hits App Store

Just when I thought I was all grown up with car payments and kids, Sega has uncovered some long-lost childhood memories of playing the Sonic games for hours on end.

Sonic is 20 years old today, and to mark the occasion, Sega has released All-Star Racing as a universal iOS application.

The $1.99 app (currently on sale) includes 10 characters, all with their own unique carts and abilities. As expected in arcade-style kart games, weapons, traps and more make the 25 levels quite exciting.

The app allows multi-player use of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and joins other Sonic games on the App Store, which are linked to below.
