sn0wbreeze jailbreak for iOS 5 beta available now

After last week’s announcement of iOS 5, the jailbreakers were pretty fast, showing that they managed to jailbreak Apple’s new OS in just a few hours with limera1n, and then again just a couple of days ago with redsn0w.

Exactly one week after the keynote, jailbreaker iH8tsn0w announced via Twitter that the sn0wbreeze 2.8b1 jailbreak for iOS 5 is now available for developers to download and install.

sn0wbreeze 2.8b1 is a tethered jailbreak. That means it can only be used by developers who are part of Apple’s iOS Developer Program, as the jailbreak doesn’t bypass Apple’s UDID checks.

The jailbreak is available to download for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 3 and 4 and the iPad 1.
