Printopia 2.0 released

Ecamm’s Printopia software has been bumped to version 2.0, making iOS printing better than ever.

Printopia is a system preference that takes almost any printer attached to the Mac and shares them across the network to iOS users. Currently, Apple’s AirPrint software only works with a handful of HP models.

Printopia can also process PDFs, adding them to a Dropbox folder.

The app is $20, but worth it if you print a lot from an iPad and have printers that aren’t officially supported by AirPrint. I use it at the office to print to an HP Color LaserJet CP3525 from my iPad, and it works amazingly well.
