Newly Updated And Redesigned LinkedIn App For iOS Hits The App Store

Today the business networking site LinkedIn has launched an update for the iOS and Android apps that brings a new, simpler design, better navigation, and new features that completely revamp the mobile experience.

LinkedIn’s new app is redesigned with a richer and more engaging stream and more personalized features. It has a richer stream so that the most relevant professionals appear in your stream for you to engage in conversation. It will have tailored updates, news, original posts from influencers and commenting is now available directly in the stream.

The update now offers even more personalization options with a new navigation page. Just slide the main homepage to the right to reveal a customizable navigation page that includes settings, a user’s profile and inbox, recent activity and a constantly updated stream ticker. This is also where you’ll find customizable shortcuts that link to various app features like groups, companies and connections.

According to the company blog, there is a lot more to come to LinkedIn’s mobile offerings this year, including more search and personalization updates.

LinkedIn can be downloaded for free from the App Store now.
