Defend those Jellies from enemy monsters in Jelly Defence

Once upon a time, in a galaxy not that far, far away…lived a proud and peaceful Jelly Nation.
Jelly Nation is a land where red, blue, and red-blue Jellies live in harmony. They are being threatened by enemy monsters, so you have to help them survive in this game of defense strategy.

Jellies…how do they work?

Like a classic Tower Defense game, you need to assign different Jellies (red, blue, or red-blue hybrid) to their posts. The red ones can kill the red enemy monsters, the blue ones can kill the blue enemy monsters, and the hybrids can kill both red and blue…just not as fast. You have to kill off these invaders before they steal your green gems. You have ten gems…the game is over if you allow them all to be stolen. Some enemy monsters carry coins which you can collect when you destroy them. The Jellies need to save their land from the evil enemy monsters trying to steal their gems, and it’s up to you to help.

What’s Macgasmic

As soon as I saw this game, the graphics dragged me in, instant attachment. I mean, how can you not love a Jelly with a moustache? Jelly Defense is simple to understand, has fun, whimsical graphics, and is addicting as hell.

I don’t know what it is about the Jellies and their theme music, but it makes me happy. I could get lost in this game for a long time (and definitely have at a couple points). I could see adults playing this game, and then in a tight situation handing it to their kid to play also.

Man, and that Jelly guy with the moustache pointing a lollipop at me … gets me every time.

What’s not.

Minus a few spelling and grammatical errors (it drives me crazy after I’ve noticed them) in the tutorial, this app is extremely well thought out. The graphics and interactions are high quality and intuitive, making it so much fun to play.

It’s easy to understand and challenging in all the right places. It’s priced at $2.99 in the app store for a limited time, so grab it now!

Hope you like it as much as I did.
