iOS 6 Has Introduced An Automagically Changing Status Bar That Changes Color

Apple’s rolled out a new little magic trick in iOS 6 that turns the status bar from the usual black or silver into a color that matches the color of the app you’re using. It’s not just a new paint job; the status bar actually changes automagically to blend into the application.

I’m not 100 percent sold on the change, often preferring the status bar to blend into the black iPhone that I currently own, but there’s no denying that it’s a nifty little magic trick in iOS 6.

The real question now is whether or not we’ll be able to turn off the color changing status bar and stick with black, or if we’re stuck with Tim Cook’s Technicolor Dream Status Bar.
