iOS 5 to feature Tweet everywhere in partnership with Twitter

Following Apple’s Twitter announcements at WWDC today, Twitter posted a post on their company’s official blog. Twitter will be built directly into iOS 5 on every level, allowing real-time sync of contacts and their photos to all your iOS devices.

According to both Apple and Twitter, you’ll be able to sign in to Twitter just once when you get your iOS device, and all Twitter enabled apps will then have permanent access to your Twitter account, without requiring you to sign in ever again.

Furthermore, you can Tweet virtually anything in iOS, whether it be a link, a photo, a video, or some text. Most of Apple’s iOS apps are now Twitter-enabled, including Camera, Photos, Safari, Contacts, YouTube, and Maps. This marks an unprecedented level of Twitter integration for any platform, and is great news for fans and users of Twitter everywhere.
